Firma Sony ogłosiła wprowadzenie na rynek najnowszego aparatu Cyber-shot DSC-T2. Najnowszy gadżet dostępny w jaskrawych kolorach, wyposażony jest w wiele zaawansowanych funkcji, w tym technologię wykrywającą uśmiech fotografowanej osoby.

DSC-T2 posiada matrycę o rozdzielczości 8Mpix oraz wysokiej jakości obiektyw marki Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar, z 3-krotnym zoomem. Obsługę ułatwi dotykowy panel LCD o przekątnej 2,7’’. Mechaniczny stabilizator obrazu, Sony Super Steady Shot, pozwala zminimalizować nieostrość fotografii przy niskich prędkościach migawki.

Ciekawą właściwością aparatu jest wbudowana pamięć o pojemności 4GB. T2 wykorzystuje najnowsze technologie Sony – wykrywanie twarzy, połączone z autofocusem, balansem bieli i lampą błyskową oraz tzw. „Smile Shutter”, czyli migawka uruchamiana automatycznie w momencie, gdy fotografowana osoba uśmiechnie się.

Cyber-shot DSC-T2 będzie dostępny od grudnia 2007 w cenie 350$. Zapowiedziane kolory urządzenia to niebieski, zielony, różowy, biały i czarny.
